Donor support in 2008 – US$ 176 million (CHF201 million) Emergency appeals ask for resources: To boost a national societys ability to respond to a disaster. DREF – Emergency Response Fund Appeals launched by IFRC at request of national societies. Donor support for Emergency Appeals in 2008 – CHF 282 million.
