2 Drop out Rate Florida is number 48 in highest rate of dropouts in the continental US…there are only 50 states!

3  55% of all students entering Florida’s public postsecondary institutions require remediation in math, reading and/or writing. 94% of students requiring remediation were enrolled in community colleges. 94% of students requiring remediation were enrolled in community colleges.  Employers estimate 45% of recent high school graduates lack skills to advance.  ACT estimates only half of college-bound students are ready for college-level reading.
