5 Inside Voices Because our entire school is indoors, students will move through the halls with limited conversation or noise. Students will also walk to the right in a single file line. Page 6 of Student Agenda This process will increase instructional time by reducing traveling time Movement will not disturb other classes Smoother movement of students and staff through halls 5

6 Student Dress Code Shirts must be tucked in and pants worn on natural waist No inappropriate logos on clothing No flip flops, mesh, or beach shoes Clothes should be of appropriate length and provide appropriate coverage Leggings may only be worn with an over-garment 1 inch above the knee from both the front and rear view No holes/ripped jeans You will not be repeatedly reminded that you are out of dress code. 7 Bullying/ Constant Teasing
Bullying/Constant Teasing is against the district’s discipline policy. Students caught doing either will receive consequences swiftly and immediately. In addition their parents will be notified of the infraction. Please notify an adult if you are aware of any potential violation of this policy. No Hate Zone 7

8 Fighting/Gang Activity
Fighting or participating in Gang Activity are against the district’s discipline policy. Students caught doing either will receive consequences swiftly and immediately. Minimum of 2 days OSS Gang Activity will be document following DCSS Gang Protocol. 8

9 Weapons/Drugs in School
Georgia Law mandates that students be arrested and charged for possession of weapons and drugs. 9

10 Student Lockers Lockers are school property and remain under the control of the school. Lockers are subject to inspection and search by school officials. Sharing lockers with another student is prohibited. 10

11 Lockers and Restroom Break
Before school After 4th period After 6th period No lockers after 7th period or after school 11
