8 Corporate Telehealth Telehealth allows a health care provider to connect to a patient through technology. The health care provider is able to review the patient’s medical history, current symptoms and provide a treatment plan. A prescribed medication can be called into the patient’s pharmacy.

9 A telehealth model in the workplace allows real-time, same-day appointments for employees. Telehealth appointments only last about 10-15 minutes. Minimal time away from work. Puts a stop to unnecessary and expensive medical visits. No long waits in waiting rooms full of sick patients. Corporate Telehealth

I am a big chicken when it comes to going to the doctor and would probably not have gone if it were not for the new Telehealth System. I was able to see the nurse practitioner at 4:40 after we closed and get my prescription called in. 16 The employee calls the telehealth scheduler to give a preferred time to connect to the telehealth provider. The employee submits 3 consent forms prior to the visit. In some cases, a telehealth provider can be the first line of defense and point the employee in the right direction should they need to see a specialist of any kind.
