4 CLOSING THE GAP  ESL students leaving ABE still not college ready!  They need exposure.  ESL students are competing with English speaking students educated in a K-12 system.

8 MAJOR COMPONENTS OF ESL CLASS 240 HOURS SEMESTER 15 HOURS PER WEEK  Academic ESL (Reading, Writing, Language Readiness) - 96 hours  Math Readiness – 96 hours  Personal Readiness – 18 hours  Career and College Readiness – 30 hours
