3 Getting online again  Select All Programs  Select the Start button  Then > Accessories > Communications > click on Remote Desktop Connection

4  In the Remote Desktop Connection window, type in: Getting online again uisci-optimizer.com  Then, click Connect  Type in your User name  Type in your Password  In the Windows Server window  Click OK

5  On the Security Warning select Open Getting online again

6 ..and Welcome Back to the Exchange Then select the Log in button We’ll log in as before Account: P33323 Password: Test and click Log in

7 Let’s revisit the Transfers page Then select the Log in button Click on the Transfers button

8 We’ll check the Want Ads Here account holders are alerting other account holders about extra water available or water needed Click on the Want Ads button to place your own ad.

9 Create a new ad Select either Seeking or Offering Type in your amount Type in contact information, phone or email Post Want Ad button does that Select how many days to run ad Click Assemble Ad Your want ad is now visible to other members, until it expires, or you click the Remove button Clear button lets you make changes before you post Let’s go <Back to the Transfers page

10 There is our new Want Ad Let’s go <Back to the Welcome page

11 Let’s revisit View My Parcels page Then select the Log in button Click on the View My Parcels button

12 Let’s assign a field to this parcel Click on ‘Assign & Edit Fields’ This parcel has no fields associated. The parcel is the legal, tax assessor’s definition of land area. Agriculture is produced in fields, defined by the farmer.

13 Here is the ‘APN to Field’ page Let’s say this parcel contains a field we call ‘West 40’ Type in the field name Associate it Type in the acres Then <Back

14 And our new field is now assigned to this parcel Next, we will sign out this parcel’s Water Card to another farmer Note that the Water Card is currently held by the property owner Click on ‘Assign Water Card’

15 Farmer Bob has agreed to rent this parcel from us Type in Bob’s account number And click ‘Review’ Click ‘Yes’to confirm And <Back

16 Our new Water Card assignment shows up The Water Card offer is ‘pending’ until Farmer Bob logs in, and Accepts or Rejects our offer

17 This is water Farmer Bob will see Here is your offer. Bob may Accept or Reject it.

18 Back on your account… You see that Bob has accepted your offer. You click on ‘OK’ to confirm. And the new assignment now appears on your scorecard
