2 USC Emeriti Center (EC) Our Mission The USC Emeriti Center supports USC retirees and pre-retirees in living healthy and purposeful lives by providing opportunities for continued service and learning. 3 Who We Are A Division of the Provost’s Office Since 1978 The term Emeriti is used as “Honor for Service” We serve all USC retired faculty, staff and pre-retirees at no cost The Emeriti Center College (ECC) is part of the Emeriti Center We assist both retiree membership organizations: Staff Retirement Association (SRA) Retired Faculty Association(RFA) The EC serves as the corporate office for the non-profit: Association of Retirement Organizations in Higher Education (AROHE)

7 Emeriti Center Becomes Your Home Department We serve over 2,300 USC retired faculty and staff Gold Trojans You can attend EC programs & join the SRA/RFA and retired or not Gold Card Process EC sends special packet to retiree after your retirement date EC sends Retirement Form to Home Dept. Coordinator (upon retiree request) The Process

15 The Emeriti College schedules 200+ presentations annually. Lectures, workshops, performances are available for alumni groups, schools, business associations, churches, and senior centers. 18 USC Trojans Helping Trojans This volunteer gathering of colleagues meets once a month to discuss current and new ways to support the USC retiree community.
