Course Acceptance: A course may not be used to satisfy more than one requirement. The Required and Recommended College Preparatory Curricula (CPC) are approved by the IHL Board of Trustees, and the IHL Office of Academic and Student Affairs maintains a complete list of courses that can be used to satisfy the CPC requirements. 27 IHL Policy 602.B - Full Admission Full admission will be granted to the following: 1.All students completing the College Preparatory Curriculum (CPC) with a minimum of 3.20 high school GPA on the CPC; or 2.All students completing the College Preparatory Curriculum (CPC) with (a) a minimum of 2.50 high school GPA on the CPC or a class rank in the top 50%, and (b) a score of 16 or higher on the ACT (composite); or 3.All students completing the College Preparatory Curriculum (CPC) with (a) a minimum of 2.00 high school GPA on the CPC and (b) a score of 18 or higher on the ACT (composite); or 4.NCAA Division I standards for student athletes who are “full-qualifiers” or “academic redshirts” are accepted as equivalent to the admission standards established by the Board. Students scoring below 16 on the ACT (composite) are encouraged to participate in the Year-Long Academic Support Program during their freshman year.

28 IHL Policy 608 - Intermediate Courses All entering freshmen enrolled at an IHL university with: a)an ACT Mathematics subtest score of 16 or less will be required to take Intermediate Algebra; b)an ACT English subtest score of 16 or less will be required to take Intermediate English; c)an ACT Reading subtest score of 16 or less will be required to take Intermediate Reading --during their first semester of enrollment. Students taking two or more intermediate courses must enroll in the Year-Long Academic Support Program. (Intermediate courses are developmental and do not count toward graduation.)

30 IHL Policy 602.C.2. - Full Admission with Academic Deficiencies Summer Developmental Program Nine-week, 12 credit hour, intensive program for students who do not meet full eligibility requirements – English – Reading – Mathematics – Learning Skills Laboratory Courses are developmental and do not count toward graduation.

31 IHL Policy 602.C.2. Full Admission with Academic Deficiencies Summer Developmental Program (SDP) Students must complete SDP with a “D” or better. Students may be eligible for continued enrollment at any IHL university in the fall term. Students must enroll in the Year-Long Academic Support Program (6 hours total) after completing SDP. Summer Developmental Grant Discontinued after summer 2015
