5. The Masai Mara is in Kenya. This is a large area of savannah or open grassland. What animals do you think live here?

6. Lots of different animals live in Africa. Why do you think they like to live here? What does this habitat have which helps the animals to grow?

8. Mount Kilimanjaro is found in Tanzania and is the highest mountain in Africa. How is this habitat the same as the grasslands?

9. Here is part of the River Congo. How does this help the animals who live here?

10. The Sahara desert is also in Africa. It is the largest hot desert in the world. How is this different to the habitat around the Kongo?

11. Even though it is so hot and dry there are lots of animals in the desert. How are these animals different to the ones within our story?

12. There are also rain forests in Africa. Many animals live here too.

13. Gorillas and monkeys live in the African rainforest. What would happen if there were no trees here like in the desert?
