11 How to find the available databases? http://www.lib.unideb.hu/ The library homepage leads us to special opening pages of the databases where they can be accessed without login names and passwords.

13 How to access databases 1. Most databases can be accessed at any terminals within the university (IP control; no password needed) 2. If you would like to use them at home, please, follow the instructions at: http://www.lib.unideb.hu/hun/proxy_beall.php (the login name is the barcode of your library card; the password is the same you would use to check your circulation status in the WEB catalogue) If you have any problems contact: Ext. 619-30

EBSCO journals and newspapers Academic Search Premier This multi-disciplinary database provides full text for nearly 4,500 journals, including full text for more than 3,600 peer-reviewed titles. PDF backfiles to 1975 or further are available for well over one hundred journals, and searchable cited references are provided for 1,000 titles

25 EBSCO Newspaper source Newspaper Source provides cover-to-cover full text for 25 national (U.S.) & international newspapers, including The Christian Science Monitor, USA Today, The Washington Post, The Washington Times, The Times (London), Toronto Star, etc. The database also contains selected full text for more than 260 regional (U.S.) newspapers, including The Boston Globe, Chicago Tribune, Detroit Free Press, The Miami Herald, Daily News (New York), San Jose Mercury News, etc. In addition, full text television & radio news transcripts are provided from CBS News, CNN, CNN International, FOX News, NPR, etc. Its search interface is similar to that of Academic Search Elite. 30 WEB of Science Access point: EISZ homepage www.eisz.hu www.eisz.hu EISZ is a Ministry of Education program to provide electronic databases for institutions of higher education. Users are required to register personally before they first use the databases; after registration user names and passwords are sent by e-mail within a few minutes.to register personally
