10 What to Think About: What were the causes of the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade? What was the mindset of the Slave Traders/Owners? What was the mindset of the enslaved? How did the slave trade affect/change Africa, Europe, & the America’s? Opinion: Should those that participated in the slave trade (traders/owners) be considered criminals, or should they get a pass b/c it was “the way of the world” at the time?
