1. How to Submit Online Housing Preferences for 2015 Spring Only – Returning Students The 2015 Spring Housing Online Preference process will take place beginning Wednesday, October 1, 2014 and will end on Friday, October 31, 2014. You will be sent an email prior to this process if you are eligible to participate. This process will only include any current UST student who previously submitted a 2015 Spring Only Returning Student housing application and is not currently living on campus 2014 Fall term. If you are a current UST student and have not submitted a 2015 Spring Only Returning Student housing application and wish to live on campus beginning in 2015 Spring term please send an email with your request to reslife@stthomas.edu. After you submit your building, meal plan, and other housing preferences online the information will be used for the housing assignments process that will take place in December 2014. You will be sent a confirmation email after the housing assignments process takes place in December. The email will include your room and meal plan confirmation along with roommate contact information. 2. Prior to the process you will be sent a link to the online housing website. The University of St. Thomas Online Housing website is located at https://housing.stthomas. edu/ To log in click I have a UST Username and want to log in link. OPTIONAL – Click the Housing Information link if you would like additional housing information. System Requirements – Please make note of the supported Browsers. SAFARI and CHROME do not work.

3. Click Yes at the popup to close the window.

4. If you clicked the Housing Information link this page will be displayed. Click on each of the links for more information regarding buildings, meal plans, or the Student Residence Agreement. Click Cancel to go back to the Login Page when done.

5. Log in with your UST Username (all lowercase) and Password (case sensitive). Click Continue to proceed to the next step.

6. After you log in a Welcome page will be displayed along with information regarding the process. TO BEGIN click one of the preference links located on the left under Housing Preferences. OPTIONAL – Single Room/J-Term Preferences REQUIRED – Building/Meal Plan Preferences REQUIRED – Roommate/Matching Preferences

7. To continue to the optional preferences click the dropdown arrow and select the Application Period 2015 Spring ONLY – Returning Students.

8. OPTIONAL PREFERENCES - Click the dropdown arrow to select Yes or No or Pending to J-Term Housing. Click the Single Room Request box if you prefer a single room. Click Update to Save Preference link to save your changes or click Cancel to undo changes.

9. Click OK at the popup to save and continue to the next step.

10. REQUIRED PREFERENCES - Click the Building/Meal Plan Preferences link. To enter your preferences click the dropdown arrow and select Application Period 2015 Spring ONLY – Returning Students.

11. Required – Select a Meal Plan from the dropdown list (you may select “no meal” as an option if applicable). Optional – Select a Special Interest Area. Required – Click New to add at least 2-3 building choices in order of importance.

12. Each time you click New a popup will be displayed. Click the dropdown arrow and select Building for the Preference Type. Select your building choice from the Building Preference dropdown list. Click Continue to save your building choice.

13. To add more building choices click New to display the building preference popup. When done scroll down and click Continue to save and proceed to the next step.

14. Click OK at the popup to save and continue to the next step.

15. After your Building/Meal Plan Preferences are saved a confirmation message will be displayed. REQUIRED PREFERENCES - Click the Roommate/Matching Preferences link.

16. To enter your preferences click the dropdown arrow and select Application Period 2015 Spring ONLY – Returning Students.

17. Optional – Enter up to 3 requested roommate’s UST ID numbers and tab to the Roommate Name field to display. Required – Answer the Roommate Matching questions. Scroll down and click Continue to save and proceed to the next step.

18. Click OK at the popup to save and continue to the next step.

19. After your Roommate/Matching Preferences are saved a confirmation message will appear. Click the X icon located at the top right corner to close/log out when done submitting all of your housing preferences.
