6 Most emails, contacts, and calendar items have been already transferred over to your new email. Some Exceptions: Archived emails will be imported over the next couple of weeks. Email addresses/groups under frequent contacts Folders in the cabinet that have no emails Shared address books You will still have access to your GroupWise email account to read/print for several weeks. Outlook computer software will be installed on your computer at a later date. You will be able to use either Outlook or OWA.

7 Archived Emails Email will automatically archive in 30 days in OWA. They maybe accessed from any computer, even at home. Keep in mind this is an ongoing process. The imports just started last weekend. There may be more days/weeks of cleaning up/importing/tweaking from GW to OWA. GroupWise Out with the OLD Office 365 In with the NEW

9 When the same workstation has been used to log into multiple Microsoft Outlook accounts, you may see the following screen when logging into Office 365. If your account is not the one listed, select Use another account. See Page 34 of OWA Intro Guide

12 Create a new email Favorites – you can add frequently used items here Inbox Folders – you can add them to organize your emails Imported Cabinet folders from GroupWise Filter your inbox to narrow down your focus Sort your emails the way you want Search your emails by topic or by person

13 1. Click on the New Mail icon 2. Begin typing the employee or student’s name (or group name). If you have emailed the person previously, the name will automatically be displayed. If this is a new person, click on Search Contacts and directory. 3. Add additional people if desired. 4. Type a subject and the message and click send. Tip: Click on the ellipses for more options. 15 Click on People section Under the Directory, click on All Distribution Lists Scroll down to find your school. Click on the email icon and type your email and click send. Please follow building guidelines and PWCS AUP when sending emails. Here are some tips for better e-mail etiquette.tips

16 Click on the gear Choose Display Settings Make any desired changes the appearance of the message list, converations, and the reading pane. Click OK.

19 My Contacts are people and groups you added or created. The Directory are rooms, groups, schools, and contacts created by PWCS. All staff and students are included.

21 1. Right-click your Inbox. 2. Select Create new folder. 3. Type the name you want to use for this folder. 4. Press Enter. Tip: Right click on the new folder for options. See Page 17 of OWA Intro Guide

22 To add a flag to a message, click on the flag icon directly above the date on the message. To view all flagged messages, click on “flagged.” Tip: To remove a flag, click on the flag icon again. A checkmark appears to indicate that the message was once flagged. For more advanced flag options, right click on the flag. See Page 11 of OWA Intro Guide

23 It is easy to sort, find, or view your messages in a more customized way. Tip: Try turning on the Conversations option. Watch this video to understand Conversation view options. video See Page 12 of OWA Intro Guide

24 Basic Navigation

25 Click on New Event Add the desired information to the event. Include an event title, date, start time, and duration. Other fields are optional. Click Save. Use the calendar to keep track of meetings, special events, school activities, and much more. See Page 21 of OWA Intro Guide

26 Right click on My Calendar > New Calendar Name Your Calendar Right click on the calendar > Share Calendar Select Team Members and calendar rights > click send See Page 29 of OWA Intro Guide

27 Team members will need to add the Team Calendar to their list of Calendars. Go to the email to view the invitation. Click on Add Calendar to add it to the list of your calendars. See Page 29 of OWA Intro Guide

28 Once you have added shared calendars to your list, you can easily view them by checking them in your list of calendars. Events are color coded for easy reference. Tip: When adding events to a calendar, make sure the correct calendar is selected.
