10 Home Readers Two home readers will be sent home on MONDAY and returned FRIDAY. Home readers do not need to be brought to school each day unless your son would like to change books. Reading levels will be monitored and changed according to the boys progress.

12 Homework Each Monday your son will receive a homework task sheet in their homework folder. The task sheet will list the jobs to do: –Reading home readers (5 minutes) –Learn sight words using look, say, cover, write, check or your own method (5 minutes every 2 nd day) –Literacy task (5 minutes) –Math task (5 minutes) Don’t do all the homework in one night. It is better to do a bit each day. Every child is different in the way they handle homework tasks at home, please be patient. I want to know what they can do and how they manage independently. Homework needs to be returned on Friday.
