2 Abstract המעבדה למערכות ספרתיות מהירות High speed digital systems laboratory 2 Our project deals with measuring eye vision of the patient without the necessity of his cooperation. A patient is receiving optical stimulation and his brain waves are being collected by Sampling card (Brain wave collector device). While stimulation, our system generates a signal to synchronize between stimulation moment and Sampling card.

3 System description המעבדה למערכות ספרתיות מהירות High speed digital systems laboratory 3 There is a software for our system – Vision.exe. With this program the user (an operator or a doctor) can set various parameters of eye stimulation for a patient, the length of a synchronizing pulse for the sampling card, etc. After setting the parameters and beginning the main loop, the patient sees one picture which changes periodically to the complementary colors picture. Each change produces brain waves and at the same time our hardware, which gets the signals of the video card, detects the picture change and sends a synchronizing pulse to the brain wave collector, so that it can start measuring the brain reaction. The results are sent to the computer and stored there.
