10 Competitive Fees What is the cost and tournament commitment? (Estimates – subject to change) The seasonal club fee includes Colorado United dues, team coach fees, CYS fees and referee fees. We have various payment options, but the minimum payment of $125- $140 (depending on team) will be due at the time of registration. The club fee does not include team fees such as tournament fees or travel expenses, indoor fees, team equipment. 16 Team Formations The following information will help you during the Team Formation process with Colorado United. The U10/11 Transition Coordinator, Tito Ward, is responsible for the preparation and running of the U11 Team Formations. The formation process is only the starting point for your child's competitive soccer experience. Even though every effort is made to place players on appropriate teams, players can be misplaced during Team Formations. To make sure players do get the best soccer experience, movement does continue throughout the entire U11 year. The following information will help you during the Team Formation process with Colorado United. The U10/11 Transition Coordinator, Tito Ward, is responsible for the preparation and running of the U11 Team Formations. The formation process is only the starting point for your child's competitive soccer experience. Even though every effort is made to place players on appropriate teams, players can be misplaced during Team Formations. To make sure players do get the best soccer experience, movement does continue throughout the entire U11 year. Here is what your child can expect at the U11 Team Formations: Here is what your child can expect at the U11 Team Formations: - The U11 team formations are done over a two day “tryout”. All players are expected to attend both nights of tryouts unless they are contacted and told otherwise. Players must let their evaluating coach know if they will be unable to attend the second night of tryouts. - Players will be begin being getting offers as early as the day of Team Formations. (Starting with the White team) - All players will be contacted within 72 hours of the end of tryouts. - Once contacted, you will have 24 hours to commit to playing on that team. - Once contacted, you will have 24 hours to commit to playing on that team. - Once you have committed to a team, you will not be moved down to a lower team during the tryout process. Players may move up as players turn down opportunities on teams above your placement. It also important to note that movement will take place both up and down throughout the fall and spring seasons as players progress in the development process. - Not all players will be guaranteed a spot on a competitive team.
