2 Engineer Training Troubleshooting TJ8300 / TJ8500 Confidential 2 General  When an alarm message/fault occurs, the UV lamp switches off and cools down for 2 minutes before re-starting.  Clearing the alarm message is done from the RTRun software: Tools > UV Dryer > UV Alarm On/Off

Shutter Failed to Close (Cont.):  Check that the UV lamp plug is connected to XPPT.  Check that the pneumatic air tube is connected to lamp head.  Check the shutter switch inside the lamp head and all electrical connections/wiring.  Check the 24VDC power supply in the UV electrical cabinet.

Lamp Power Fault (Cont.):  During the lamp’s “burn-in” stage, if its current does not exceed 70A after 2 minutes, the lamp switches off and the alarm message appears.  Check the connection between the UV lamp head and the UV electrical cabinet.  Check if the lamp is not broken.  Verify that the four high voltage relays in the UV electrical cabinet are enabled during the “burn-In” stage.

Cooler Pump/Fan Trip (Cont.):  Verify that the cooler pump circuit breaker (Q6.11 inside the UV electrical cabinet) is On.  Verify that the cooler Fan 1 circuit breaker (Q6.12 inside the UV electrical cabinet) is On.  Verify that the cooler Fan 2 circuit breaker (Q6.13 inside the UV electrical cabinet) is On.  Check the electrical connections and wiring of plug XPC2 (from cooler to UV electrical cabinet).

Reflector Open Check Lamp Safety Switch (Cont.):  Verify that the lamp reflector is in closed position.  Check the safety switch and the electrical connections and wiring of plug XPLH (from the UV lamp head to UV electrical cabinet).  Verify that the safety relay K9 is energized and green LED is lit. If the orange LED is lit, the safety relay is not energized.
