6 Ground Transportation Vehicle Fees Paid On – Airport Rental Car Fee 94.74% of respondents charge this type of fee (18 airports) 44.44% (8 airports form 18 airports) base this fee strictly on a percentage of gross. Range: 4.5% - 10% Median: 8.25% 22.22 % (4 airports from 18 airports) base this fee on a percentage of gross or MAG Only 1 airport charges both, percentage of gross and MAG 33.33 % (6 airports from 18 airports) base this fee on a percentage of gross in in addition to rent or counter space or per transaction fee or some other combination of charges MIA charges 9%, 7.5% and 4.5% of gross revenue for Tier 1,2,3 respectively

Only 2 airports base this fee strictly on a per trip fee. Range:6.5% - 10% Range: 96¢ – $5.75 Average: 7.58% Average:$2.96 52.63% (10 airports) base this fee on a combination of percentage of gross, decal fee, per contract, per transaction and/or others.

21 Airport Taxi Fees and Fares Taxicab Annual Fee 45.45% of respondents charge this type of fee (10 airports). For Closed Airports Range: $55 - $174,000 Average: For Open Airports $47,916 Range: $25 - $3,861 Average $1,341.33 30% from 10 airports charge other fees in addition to the annual fee (per driver fee, decal fee, per vehicle fee, per trip fee)

22 Taxicab Annual Fees PHX and TPA have companies under contract that pay $16K and $174K annually.

23 Airport Taxi Fees and Fares Taxicab Concession Fee Taxicab entry 20% of respondents charge this type of fee (4 airports). 52.17 have an open taxicab entry system (12 airports). 47.83% of respondents have a closed taxicab entry system (11 airports).

26 Airport Hotel/Motel Courtesy Vehicles Access Fee Permit Fee Per Trip Fee 20% of respondents charge this type of fee (3 airports). 57.89% of respondents charge this type of fee (11 airports). 57.14% of respondents charge usage on a per trip fee (12 airports) This fee is charged on per trip basis, dwell time and per transponder. 63.64% (7 airports from 11 airports) charge this fee on an annual basis. Range: $100 - $700 Range: 65¢ - $5.75 Average $415.71 Dwell Time 50% charge for usage through dwell time fees. Range: $.75 - $4.30
