Late 1980’s the State of Utah deregulated the GT industry, changing the regulated number of five shared ride van providers plus hotel shuttles charter coach operators and taxicabs to a growth of over eighty companies in the early 1990’s. This number has continued to grow along with the population and airport rider ship to nearly one hundred and fifty registered GT providers. First GT enforcement section started in 1990 with six volunteer Police Officers. First AVI system installed in 1992. Ordinance 5.71 passed and first commercial vehicle inspections started in 1993. Today we combine the public traffic control with GT and the number of employees are 29 plus management and growing.
