SUGGESTIONS TO IMPROVE STIMULATE PROGRAMMES SSSSubsidized Lunch should be provided during tours. EEEE-documents or soft-copies be provided instead of hard-copies. TTTThere should be lots of field trips. TTTThere should be lots of assignments. MMMModern IBM Laptop should be provided.

4. STRONG POINTS OF ORGANISATION  Handouts, computers and peripherals were out in time.  Accommodations were well prepared in advance.  Access to Internet facility was second to none to participants.  Transportation arrangements for trips were very good.  Information assimilation to participants was excellent, compared with days there were no email facitity.

BEST COMPONENTS OF THE PROGRAMME MMMMixture of different Experts. DDDDatabase Management. LLLLearning and Teaching Environment. HHHHomepage development (html & xml). EEEEffective Statistics for Library and Information services. UUUUsing different strategies in searching. CCCCitation Analysis.

6. Not so good Components of the Programme  Evolution of Hardware were not tackled.  Some interested contents were just too short.  Hypermedia and Multimedia were not dealt with.

7. Recommendation for Management in Ghana  Creation of Databases for Library Management.  Creation of a website for the Authority.  Training of other members of Staff.  Improvement of the Management of Virtual Libraries.  By using Greenstone, all problems with archiving and accessing of newspapers clips will be solved in the Authority.
