2. WHAT IS STIMULATE 2? STIMULATE is an acronym for Scientific and Technological Information in Universities and Libraries: an Active Training Environment It is a three month program conducted by the Vrije University of Brussels, Belgium.

3. PROGRAM OBJECTIVES To provide participants with a clearer view on the importance of information. To guide participants in retrieval of information which is publicly accessible on an international scale. To teach participants to organise and manage their institutional, regional or national resources.

4. STRONG POINTS STIMULATE is a necessary program for people coming from developing economies. The knowledge gained will help me in improving my service provision. The study environment was excellent and lecturers kept to their schedules.

5. RECOMMENDATIONS I would like to ask for financial commitment in order to improve service provision in our Library. I also recommend complete computerisation of our record management system.
