Why? Addressing a need
Our Off-Campus students can’t attend face-to-face classes.
Our On-Campus students aren’t as “on campus” as they used to be.
A digital collection benefits from a digital IL class.
Our students don’t all have the same starting point.
Kids these days, eh?
What? A suite of reusable learning objects
It had to start from scratch.
It had to be self-paced.
It had to be reusable.
We didn’t need to reinvent the wheel (at least, not *every* wheel).
Then there was this “Gamification” thing.
Well? Outcomes and lessons learnt.
We learnt a lot about team work.
We actually impressed ourselves.
We reached a lot of people (all things considered).
We need to fix a few thing. ^ s
We learnt a lot from this presentation.
