2 I. Location and Government
The Coahuiltecans lived in the Gulf Coast plans. IT was very, very hot their, their was bearly any farm land . They were hunters they liked to gather a lot of stuff . They stayed with there area. They were moving from place to place constantly

3 II. How They Lived Life was the hardest probably the hardest of all the native Texas tribes The area they lived in stuff called brush Country because of its vegetation. Coahuiltecans lived off the land they ate anything they could find . This included prickly pears; mesquite beans snakes; lizards; grubs; nuts rabbit and deer javelin .they mostly used flint to make weapons they had sticks made from hard wood

4 IV. Beliefs The religious or spiritual beliefs the Coahuiltecans were not very organized. The band members had their own beliefs the shaman did not hold religious like ceremonies. This ceremony children get tattooed by the shaman . The groom and brides parents arranged the marriage . The deaths were taken very seriously and marriages could last as long as three months. mourners sometimes starved to death because they did not search for food they had to depend on others to eat . The mintoes were dances or festivals held by the band . They were often held to celebrate a victory .

5 V summary The coahuiltecans where very adaptable tribe group.
They survived off the least productive land in Texas they used whatever was available to them. They lived quite happily in the harsh environment .
