Team Availability/Expectations
10U – Must be 10 or under as of January 1st to be eligible to play the following summer. At 10U a player can expect to play approximately 25 – 40 games in a season (depending upon how the team performs in a tournament). This is made up of approximately game nights (double header each night) and 3-4 tournaments with most tournaments consisting of a 3 game minimum. Practices typically start in/or about January one time a week. Once the season starts there may be additional practices scheduled. This is completely up to the coach and the teams expectations. A player will learn the basic fundamentals and begin to understand the concepts of “true” softball verses the in-house concept. This will help propel players to the next level of travel softball.
