5. ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS  Boys entering into 7 th or 8 th grade for the 2014-2015 school year.  Student athlete must be enrolled at the school where they plan to participate in athletics for the school year. (Exception: Zeeland Quest)  Physical is required and must be on file with school before student athlete is allow to participate in organized try-outs, practices, and games.  Boys participating in school soccer are not allowed to participate in any club soccer program directly during the boys middle school soccer season in the fall. However boys are allowed to participate in other club sports (Basketball, Baseball, Hockey, Ect.) directly during the boys middle school soccer season in the fall.  Student athlete must meet all state and school academic requirements to be eligible to participate in school athletics.

6. TRY-OUT INFORMATION  Try-outs start on Tuesday August 26, 2014 (week before school starts)  Try-out schedule is as follows:  Tuesday August 26, 2014: 3:00PM-5:00PM  Wednesday August 27, 2014: 3:00PM-5:00PM  Thursday August 28, 2014: 3:00PM-5:00PM  1st round cuts or final team selection will take place on Thursday August 28, 2014  If try-outs go into a 2 nd week, teams will be finalized no later than Thursday September 4, 2014.

7. SEASON INFORMATION  Practices will be after school from 3:15PM-4:45PM on days that we do not have games. (Mostly Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays)  First game is scheduled on Tuesday September 9, 2014 (Home VS. Zeeland West- Creekside)  Games will be on mostly Tuesdays and Thursdays (1 game scheduled on a Monday)  Transportation is provided to and from away games. (Players must ride bus to away games! Exception: PATH or other case by case circumstances)  Season finishes around middle to end of October.

8. SUMMER OPEN FIELDS  This summer there will be open field sessions for Cityside MS boys at the Zeeland East HS soccer complex (across the street from Zeeland East HS; next to Zeeland Stadium) on Wednesday nights.  Cityside MS boys summer open field dates and times:  Wednesday June 18, 2014: 6:00PM-7:30PM  Wednesday June 25, 2014: 6:00PM-7:30PM  Wednesday July 9, 2014: 6:00PM-7:30PM  Wednesday July 16, 2014: 6:00PM-7:30PM  Wednesday July 30, 2014: 6:00PM-7:30PM  More open field sessions maybe offered the first few weeks of August. Please check www.zeelandeastsports.com throughout the summer for more information. www.zeelandeastsports.com  Open field sessions are not mandatory to attend but are highly recommended to attend.

9. ZEELAND EAST-PSV EINDHOVEN CAMP  When: July 21-25, 2014; 9:00AM-12:00PM  Where: Zeeland East Soccer Complex  Cost: $90  What: Summer camp offered by the Zeeland East Boys HS Soccer Program, camp is run by PSV Eindhoven (Netherlands) Staff. Great opportunity for boys to be taught and coached by coaches from Europe.  Registration Deadline: June 27. 2014 (Registration form and payments mailed to Coach Kamstra)  It is highly recommended and high encouraged for boys interested in playing MS soccer to attend this camp if possible.
