1. Putog Teoranta, a new company which produces and supplies artisan pork based products to the retail market under the De Róiste brand.
The company, which began production in March ’12, already has it products on shelves in major retail outlets such as Supervalu, Centra and other Retailers. The De Róiste brand is founded on the ethos of combining family traditions with practical knowledge of food production.

Fresh Pork Blood: We are one of a few manufacturing food producers to have Department of Agriculture approval for the use of ‘fresh pork blood’.
Support Indigenous Industry: Cereals are supplied by Flahavan’s.
Corporate Social Responsibility: All raw material is sourced locally.

Since the official launch in the intervening months the company has grown and expanded its distribution network, to include retail outlets within Cork, Limerick, Waterford, Tipperary, Wexford, Kerry and Dublin.
De Roiste has been in attendance at the Cork and Kerry Food Forum, Riverfest Limerick, Cork Summer Show. The company was also invited to attend the AIB Small Business Showcase at the Dublin Horse Show 2012 at the RDS.
Promotional campaign has focused on ‘Tasting’ within local retailers, growing a brand identity within the market place.
