During the post-election period Leadership Directories’ Content Staff will continue to follow elections results and related changes. All changes will be reflected daily on Leadership® Online. As the presidential transition gets underway, President-Elect Obama’s Transition Team will be added to the Executive Office of the President and updated daily to reflect additions to the Transition Staff. Outgoing Bush Administration Appointees will be removed as they depart and replaced by Acting or Interim officials. Nominees to the President-Elect’s Cabinet will be added to their respective Departments as Designees. The full Membership of the 111th Congress will be reflected and searchable online with biographies, photos and networks for new Members. Following the Congressional Leadership Elections, any changes in the Senate or House Leadership will be available on Leadership® Online. As always, staff changes will be updated daily. 2 Over 50 in-house editors and researchers make over 4,000 verified updates a day to our database (on average).
3 High state office results from across the nation, such as State Attorney General, State Treasurer, and Secretary of State. Winners for the approximately 5,930 state legislature contested seats will be added in the week following the general election. Gubernatorial Transition Teams will be added to Governor-Elects’ Offices if available. Winners of State Judicial and Municipal Elections will also be reflected on Leadership® Online. Also, after the elections check for updates to government affairs, association, nonprofit, judicial, and state and municipal government contacts.
4 Newly-Elected Members of Congress - includes only the newly-elected Members of the House and Senate. Available in the Leadership Library® on the Internet and the Congressional Leadership Directory® Online. Members of the 111th Congress - includes all Members of the 111th Congress, including returning Members, re-elected Incumbents, and newly-elected Members. Available in the Leadership Library® on the Internet and the Congressional Leadership Directory® Online. Newly-Elected State Officials - includes newly-elected Governors, Lieutenant Governors, Attorney Generals, and other high-ranking State Officials, plus newly- elected Legislators. Available in the Leadership Library® on the Internet. Newly-Elected Federal Officials and Transition Teams - includes President-elect Obama, Vice President-elect Biden, and various departmental Transition Team members. Available in the Leadership Library® on the Internet and the Federal Leadership Directory® Online. To help our subscribers track the comings and goings of newly-elected officials, Leadership Directories recently added the following One-Click Searches to Leadership® Online. One-Click searches are accessible in the drop-down menu under the Search tab.
Add individuals to a customized list, and any changes we make to their contact info will automatically update – you won’t have to add the same names over and over to ensure the data is up- to-date. Add contacts to lists from People Pages or by choosing one (or several) people from a results list. 5
6 Leadership Directories recently updated the process of saving, viewing, and editing Notes for People and Organization Documents. Notes are added by clicking “Add Note” on People/Organization Documents or from a My Contacts list. Notes can be viewed and edited by clicking on the Note icon on People/Organization Documents or on a My Contacts List. Notes include a “Last Updated” date that shows the last time the note was edited/modified. Each My Contacts list, including the notes attached to individuals, can be exported.
7 A Search for Recent Articles link has been added under individual journalist listings that opens up a Google™ News browser with links to that person’s recent articles. Pitching notes from journalists – reporters and editors share tips on what you should do (and not do) when pitching a story. We’ve also added Preferred Method of Contact – reporters and editors list the best way to make contact.
8 We've added new search functionality, plus the ability to filter results based on Yellow Book, plus multi- criteria filtering. All Federal organizations are under one heading: it's a unified view of the federal government (which also includes new content).

Quickly look up contact information for individuals or entire organizations, conduct phone calls in one click, and instantly send e-mails without being tied to your desktop. Mobile access will come free with subscriptions to T he Leadership Library® on the Internet. The mobile version includes a basic search (similar to the Organization and People Search) that loads People Pages and Org Documents.
