4 Audio Control Keys Volume button controls handset, headset, speaker, and ring volume. Mute, Speaker, and Headset buttons illuminate when functions are active. Programmable call appearance buttons Eight custom buttons with tri-color LED indicators show active, incoming, and on-hold calls. Soft Keys Context-sensitive, functions defined in display area. Function Keys Perform core telephony functions: Voicemail, Directory, History, Transfer, Conference, Hold Navigation key pad/selector button Lets you select options in the interface. Indicator LED Flashing light alerts you to incoming calls and unheard voice messages.

5 Placing Calls Dial Extension Dial Extension Use Directory Use Directory – Scroll using navigation pad and selector button – Filter  You can filter by first name, last name, or extension. – Dial Soft Key to dial selected extension – Exit Soft Key to return to main display Dial 9 first to place external call Dial 9 first to place external call

6 Incoming Call Answer Answer – Lift Handset – Answer Soft Key – Speaker Button – Headset Button Send to Voice Mail (VM) Send to Voice Mail (VM) – To VM Soft Key – Press Voice Mail button – Press # Call Diversion Call Diversion – Transfer, Extension, Transfer

7 Re-dialing and Checking Missed Calls To view a list of recently dialed, received, and missed calls To view a list of recently dialed, received, and missed calls – Press HISTORY function key – Use the Navigation Pad key to scroll a list of calls – Press the Selector Pad or Dial soft key to dial a call Press More Soft Key Press More Soft Key – This will give you certain options:  Delete Soft Key: delete individual history items  Filter Soft Key: Sort by To, From, and Missed Calls

8 Transferring Calls Press Transfer Function Key. This places the caller on hold immediately. Press Transfer Function Key. This places the caller on hold immediately. Dial the number OR use the directory Dial the number OR use the directory – Blind Transfer  Hang Up or Press the Transfer soft key – Consultative Transfer – Preferred Method  Press Consult soft key to talk to the Recipient  Press Yes soft key OR hang up to complete the transfer  Press Cancel soft key to return to the call – Send to Recipient’s Voice Mailbox  Press More soft key  Press To MB soft keyPress Intcom soft key

9 Conferencing Calls Press Conference Function Key to start – this puts the first party on hold Press Conference Function Key to start – this puts the first party on hold Blind Conference – move party directly into conference Blind Conference – move party directly into conference – Press Conference soft key to ring the party directly into the conference Consultative Conference – allows discussion before joining the conference Consultative Conference – allows discussion before joining the conference – Press Consult soft key to speak with the recipient before ringing them into the conference  Press Yes soft key to complete  Press Cancel soft key to return to a two party call

10 After a conference is established Press Show soft key to display all conferenced parties Press Show soft key to display all conferenced parties – To Disconnect a Caller scroll to the party and press the Drop soft key

11 Pickup Pickup Pressing the Pickup soft key on your screen will allow you to answer a ringing phone. To complete a call pickup: Pressing the Pickup soft key on your screen will allow you to answer a ringing phone. To complete a call pickup: – Press Pickup. – Dial Extension – Press Pickup

12 Park Park The Park soft key on your idle screen allows you to place a call on hold at another extension. During your active call: The Park soft key on your idle screen allows you to place a call on hold at another extension. During your active call: – Press Park – Dial Extension – Press Park

13 Unpark Unpark The Unpark soft key on your idle screen allows to bring a call that is on hold to your extension The Unpark soft key on your idle screen allows to bring a call that is on hold to your extension – Press Unpark – Dial extension where call is currently on hold – Press Unpark

14 Voice Mail Initial Set-Up Password: 1234 Password: 1234 At first log-in, change to new 4 to 6 digit code At first log-in, change to new 4 to 6 digit code Record first AND last name Record first AND last name

15 Voice Mail To Check Voice Mail: From your phone: From your phone: – Press # to access Voice Mail system  Enter Password  Then # – Press Voice Mail key for Visual VM

16 Visual Voice Mail Visual VM Window Visual VM Window – Press Voice Mail key to access – Enter Password  Press Play Soft Key to listen to message  Press Call Back Soft Key to call sender directly  To save or show saved messages, press More Soft Key  To delete, press Delete Soft Ket
