ATMs and Banks use Milestone VMS across the world
Mumbai – 3 August RAIDNet India has introduced a new solution called “B-3S Transact 2.5”, a banking and ATM security system using Milestone XProtect IP video management software to manage many network surveillance cameras from a mix of hardware manufacturers.  “The video control systems have been mainly installed for safety and security reasons, i.e. to watch out for the safety of customers and to provide quality control in business processes, insure against errors and fraud, and to improve service levels,” says Dr. Ganapathi Dhiwaghar, Chairman of RAIDNet India. B-3S Transact 2.5 allows banks to monitor each of the ATM locations and collect evidence under a single Milestone XProtect Enterprise interface – the screen shows the transaction data and images of the person together with timeline.  He further says: “RAIDNet has tested the product and the solution along with AXIS cameras at the ICICI Bank ATM testing Centre, Mumbai. The solution is unique for global ATM security and surveillance; it allows the use of various functions including video analytics, people counting, anti- vandalism, anti-fraudulent activities, and more.  RAIDNet is currently talking with the largest security firm in Australia and Malaysia for providing such solutions. B-3S Transact 2.5 comes with 2 IP-based AXIS cameras, a RAIDNet Transact 2.5 server box pre-loaded with Milestone XProtect, ATM plug-in and other Milestone software licences. The B-3S Transact 2.5 server box can be connected either through the Serial port or Ethernet port to any ATM machine.
