S&OP Demand + Supply+ Finance Demand Supply Integrated (IBP) In this slide we show the individual components of the next generation of Infor Supply Chain Planning. The basic framework is the core, the box with the lighter shade of blue. The core consists of several sub-components, the two of most significance are 1. the S&OP data repository, the 2. new SCDM – Supply Chain Data Management. Every customer buying any component of the SCP suite will require the core. Existing customers of S&OP will be entitled to the ‘core’. However the core, on its own will serve no purpose. It will need at least one of the modules listed above. The S&OP module is the S&OP solution that we know today. To function S&OP will require several foundation products on which it is dependent. These are ION Process (including the Workflow engine and ION Desk), ION Collaboration Engine, and ION Content Assistant. These items are required inclusions with install of S&OP, and therefore will be bundled into the S&OP SKU Code for sales purposes. In addition to S&OP, or individually with S&OP, a customer may also opt to purchase one or more of the “extended modules”. For the purpose of this discussion only, I am referring to each module by the same name as it is in S&OP with a suffix of “+”. A plus module, is the same module as the module within S&OP, but with extended functionality enabled. It is not a new module. For example: From mid-2012, S&OP may be sold with ‘an extended Demand+ module’, this module will provide some of the features found in a true BoB demand planning tool. The first release of Demand+ will include the Bayesian statistics engine. This is the same statistics engine found in DP today. Over time we will be adding more BoB Demand Planning capabilities into Demand+. It may also be sold with an ‘extended Supply+ module’. The extended Supply module will provide inter-operability the existing Infor supply planning solutions, namely AP, RP, or Planning. Of course licenses are required of the chosen supply planning solution. The initial focus with this module will be to provide AP interoperability. As you may be aware, AP is currently a single user application without a browser based UI and with no explicit security. By embedding AP interoperability within Supply+, AP by default becomes multi-user, web-based, and secure. In the near future we will be providing Supply+ for RP, and Planning. It may also be sold with an ‘extended Schedule+ module’. The plan for the extended Schedule+ module, is that it will provide an alternative user experience for Advanced Scheduling and Scheduling. However in the immediate deliverables for 2012, ‘Schedule+’ will provide similar expereince to AS Webviewer. So this is what Supply Chain Planning will look like in Remember we have decided on the extended module names as yet, so the “+” is just a placeholder.
