10 Entrepreneurship  Understand functioning of a company and the life of the entrepreneur manager  The role of the manager-entrepreneur in a corporate entrepreneurship context  Understand entrepreneurship as a synthesis of self and social surrounding  Design a business project (introduction, process and key methodological elements) and be able to apply it  Business majors can take this in place of MGT 732  Also, counts as EcoG 600+ level elective (as long as you aren’t double counting more than two classes for your major and dual major)

11 Studies and Academic Program  Each of the first three modules will be divided into two 15-hour modules of classes and 15 hours of field trips. “Students’ schedules are not going to be the same from one week to the other as we organize classes in block, one seminar being taught after the other. This might be unsettling at first to have on some days 3 to 6 hours with the same faculty.” ~Nathalie The module format is to study one subject (class) intensively. The lectures are three to six hours long per day for one subject. The Entrepreneurship module is made up of 3 days of introduction through the MIME© method and group projects.

12 Studies and Academic Program  French Language Courses You will take a placement exam in Dijon and placed in a French class at your level. If your major has a language requirement, this class will partially fulfill the requirement. Recommended: Unless you have no prior French, you can take a before and after language test at the Murkland Language Center to test out of a semester of language. You may wish to take French 401 the fall before you go to France and finish your language requirement in France. Note: If you have had 2 or more years of French in high school, you must take French at the intermediate level to fulfill the requirement.

13 Cultural Visits Students visited in the previous years  Day trips: Beaune and the wine area: visit Hospices de Beaune and Château de la Rochepot Northern Burgundy: visit Abbaye de Fontenay, Semur en Auxois and Flavigny Champagne, Jura and Beaujolais regions  4 day trip: 2014 ProWein, Dusseldorf, Germany, Wine Industry Trade Show School welcome organization, Melting Potes, also organizes a spring break trip for a reasonable rate. In the past students have gone to Munich and Strausborg.

15 Scholarships and Fellowships UNH Scholarships and Fellowships  There are many scholarship opportunities to help finance your undergraduate foreign experience, In addition to the options below, please check the CIE Facebook page regularly for the most up to date listings.CIE Facebook page Center for International Education (CIE) Scholarships  The Center for International Education conducts a bi-annual scholarship competition (spring and fall) and awards $500-$5,000 grants to eligible undergraduates.  FALL 2014 Application: spring semester '15 deadline Friday, October 3, 2014 at noon. 16 Getting Started  Apply for your passport. If you have a passport, check the expiration date to confirm that it will not expire until 6 months after your return.  By October 1 return forms to 360B or 360Z PAUL:  Program Enrollment Form  accommodation questionnaire  Study Away Eligibility Form  Study Abroad Academic Reference Form  Acceptance notice is given by October 5.  Once you are accepted, you will be sent the BSB application, due October 15 or sooner.

All international students (European or not) can apply for housing benefit. Applications will be done upon arrival during the induction week Then CAF (Housing benefit organism) will then study each application individually and let you know if you are entitled or not. They also accept our students. The kitchen and toilets are shared but you will have your own fridge in the bedroom and own shower room. Then you will have to pay by bank transfer payment from a French bank account at the beginning of each month.  Rent per month: between € 409 ($527) and € 425 ($548)depending on the floor and size of your flat, this price includes water. Electricity is not included, and your consumption will be added to your monthly rent. 40 Homestay H OMESTAY Homestays with French families are also available at around EUR 450 € ($591) per month, including breakfast and, sometimes, depending on the type of home stay, 3 evening meals a week. If you choose this type of accommodation you must inform the International Office well in advance. Some homestays accept more than one student.
