An independent school providing a K-12 Catholic education using a traditional home school curriculum daily while nurturing, caring, and directing young individuals towards their future under one roof.

Mission Statement We believe that there is only One God in Three Divine Persons; The Father, The Son, and The Holy Ghost. We believe that His Divine Son became man and died for our sins and that He will come to judge the living and the dead. We believe these and all the truths which the Holy Catholic Church teaches because He has Revealed them, Who canst neither deceive nor be deceived. In these truths we will teach and guide our children while nurturing vocational callings through the perpetual help of the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of the Mother of God.

Board Members The Board recognizes The Immaculate Heart of Mary as the Founder of IHMCS Mrs. Lisa Rawson – President/Headmistress Mr. Ken Hermes – Vice President Mrs. Valerie Brown – Interim Secretary Vacant – Co-Treasurer Mr. Daniel Heckenkamp – C0-Treasurer

IHMCS Philosophy Through the guidance of the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of the Mother of God, IHMCS shall build the foundation of the school by following the philosophy of: St. John Bosco and Father Edward Flanagan.

St. John Bosco Immaculate Heart of Mary will combine the philosophy of St. John Bosco (nurturing) the child’s love of God. The Method In St. John Bosco's own words, “this system is based entirely on Reason, Religion and Loving – Kindness”. Reason stands for a wise and progressive enlightenment of the minds of the young, opening them to the world, to culture, to the realities of life and the appeal of values. Religion provides the motivation, the ultimate meaning, significance and orientation of a project of life governed by Reason.

St. John Bosco Loving Kindness is rooted in the charity of the Good Shepherd. It is the key that gives access to the heart of every young person. There are very few people who rebel in the face of genuine goodness. "Without confidence and love, there can be no true education.“ "Frequent Communion and daily Mass are the two pillars of education.“ "[To the teachers] On the eve of a feast, announce it very briefly at the end of the last period and exhort them to go to Holy Communion. Great is a teacher’s influence on his pupils if they love him.“ "The teacher who is seen only in the classroom and nowhere else, is a teacher and nothing more; but let him go with his boys to recreation and he becomes a brother."
