2 2 Why changing e-COST:  A new release of e-COST will be implemented together with the release of the new Vademecum, on 28 June 2013  The system has been improved and also changed to reflect the recently revised COST Implementation Rules applying to COST Actions Management Committees and COST Action participants 2

3 3 Meetings:  Improvement of the « Joint meeting » functionality  Automatic definition of eligibility of participants according to COST Implementation Rules 3 On-line Travel Reimbursement Request (OTRR)   Re-organisation of the categories of expenses of the OTRR in order to simplify the encoding for participants and the reviewing for Grant Holders   No change in terms of eligibility of expenses   Harmonisation with the revised Vademecum (to be announced end of June)

4 4 Local Organiser Support  Re-designing of the entire process to simplify it and to reduce the number of steps  On-line pre-approval and post-approval  On-line Grant Letter and on-line submission of the Payment Request Form  On-line submission of the breakdown of expenses and invoices
