4 Methodology involving the synthesis of tetra phenyl porphyrin, its binding with carbon monoxide and the expected out come The cyclocondensation of equimolar amount of pyrrole with aromatic aldehydes in refluxing propionic acid to get the required 5,10,15,20-tetra aryl porphyrins (TAP). Structural analysis and binding studies of TAP Fe(III)Cl with CO will be confirmed by IR, UV and other spectroscopic data.
