3 Who belongs to the PTA? EVERYONE! Any parent & teacher that wants to help Venetia Valley. All are welcome to become part of the group! We NEED everyone to participate.

4 What does the PTA do? Support needs of the school and community by sponsoring fundraisers, community events & building a school community. Some examples: Sponsor Fall Carnival, Tropical night and Book Fair Donate $$ to each teacher account to use for classroom supplies Provide funds for school beautification, school supply needs, Garden (15k), Playworks (29k), K-3 Music (15k) and much, much, more

18 Falcon Fund Initial Campaign 8/23 – 9/28 Incentives: – 20% of the falcon fund donations will go back to the classrooms the children are in (teacher acct) – Pizza Party for: The class that raises the MOST money AND Any Class that has 100% participation(includes teacher)

23 After School Enrichment Classes are still being finalized – this is what we know! WHEN DOES IT START/END?: – STARTS: Monday, September 30, 2013 – ENDS: Monday, December 16, 2013 DAYS and TIMES of CLASSES: – Classes are Monday thru Thursday – 2:45-3:45PM or 2:50-3:50PM depending on the class' grade level. WHEN CAN I SIGN UP? – Forms distributed in the Thursday folders on September 5 – Registration will close on Friday, 9/20 at 3:00PM – Registration is 1 st come, 1 st serve
