7. Families and Friends of Deployed Units - FAFDU Is a project aimed at supporting service families who remain at home whilst their loved one is away on deployment. Social get-togethers are arranged on a monthly basis, either a Saturday or Sunday, sometimes at our local Community Centres as well as trips out and about to local attractions.

10. WHAT IS RNCOM Dedicated website set up for development of a unit specific family community, via the internet. The object is to promote and welcome all RN/RM families to become part of the extended naval family. Thus creating a support network for families at times of need and heightened tension.

11. Short Term Housing Scheme To alleviate separation.
