This business may be a way to help you, ______. What I want to do is send you a link to the Drs’ video. They share their vision of why they are building this new company and where we are going, it will take you about 5 minutes. So _____, when can you do that? O.K. great, the next step is for us to get on the phone with one of my business partners who can share our company better than I can since I am brand new & just learning. Does either X or X work for you? Great! This next call will be about 15 minutes, unless you have some questions you want to ask. I can’t wait to get your feedback. 10 NEXT STEP ~ THE 3 WAY CALL, See example of this in The New Consultant Corner of your weekly Superstar Sisters Newsletter and also in our Superstar Coaching section of our website: Your Personal R+F Story is your part in this shared conference call. The rest of your part is to listen and take notes. Your business partner may call on you for a testimonial. Prior to the call you must let her/him know a little bit about your prospect… the qualities that impress you… a “pain point”…etc

11 Additional “Talking Points” to use with a prospect:
Romi Neustadt: “Imagine if Howard Scuhltz, the CEO Starbucks, came to you and offered you a franchise on any corner in America and you did not have to build a brick and mortar structure. You don’t have to buy a frappe-chino machine. All you have to do is talk to people, and one day you will be able to put those franchises on street corners overseas.” Where else in this economy can you start your own business for less than a grand, have the ability to get a return on your investment, a promotion, a pay raise, and get a free iPad in your first month in business? Amy Byrd: “ I am in business development with the doctors who created Proactiv on their new anti-age skin care company, Rodan +Fields I am opening markets all over the US but especially in the _______area (where ever you are choosing to build) which is why I am calling you today.”

12 “I have just started a new business working with the doctors who created Proactiv on their new business venture Rodan +Fields Dermatologists. What the doctors did for acne with ProActiv, they are now doing for aging skin with their new line. Our products were previously featured in Nordstrom, Bloomingdales, and Henri Bendels in New York City. In fact, we were the number one selling clinical brand in Nordstrom in 2007. The doctors realized that they were only reaching one person at a time behind the cosmetic counter and they saw this huge wave of social media coming. In a very smart and unprecedented move they pulled from high end retail and moved into direct sales.

Nicole Cormany: I have never been interested in this type business model before. But there were a few BIG THINGS that caught my attention. The first was the powerful brand name ProActiv! I knew that it was a household name world wide. And that it would be an immediate door opener when I was talking to people and I was right. When I learned that these products were in high end retail first, I was all ears. I was also very intrigued by the timing of this! Timing is everything in this industry. And, we all have the opportunity to be first throughout the US and we have plans to go international in the fourth quarter of 2012

18 Ok, let’s change some skin!!
“People with all different backgrounds are working with Rodan + Fields – accountants, business owners, teachers, stay-at-home moms, lawyers, you name it. Some with business experience, many with none. But those who are successful have certain things in common, and this is what we’re looking for. Who do you know who is self-motivated, loves people (and helping others to succeed), is FUN to be with and may have hours a week to create a substantial income? (OPTIONAL) Anyone you refer who becomes a Consultant or a Preferred Customer earns you free product or a finder’s fee, your choice! 19 Now some of you might be thinking this is great, but what if they have NO personal interest.
Where do I go from there? What is that language? So if the person says, “No….. (HARMONIZE!) “I totally understand. This business is not a fit for everyone. But still, I am trying to keep up with the demand there is in __________. This business is like every business on the planet - it depends on referrals. Who do you know that I could connect with?

20 Give them clues … maybe a real estate agent struggling in this sad economy, a really successful person who would be interested in building a lucrative side business, perhaps a teacher with summers off, or just the most energetic, go getter, well connected person you know! What’s important in your language here is that you be specific, and you ask. When you say, “who do you know,” people get lost in their thoughts! They know a lot of people, so you need to be specific! Very powerful!

21 “Hey, one more question before I let you go
“Hey, one more question before I let you go! While you were thinking about those referrals, I have one more question. If you could change two things about your skin, what would that be? Now, it’s important here to pause. Give them time to think! I would love to share our award winning products with you. Maybe right there you could even share a quick product story. • Walk them through the solution tool. And, of course, when they are on the Solution Tool, make sure and encourage them to themselves their prescription from the doctors. Because, of course, what does that do … it sends the to you, as well.

23 One of the first objections a lot of people here is … Oh, it’s too expensive … or I can’t afford the investment … and when somebody does that … here’s the language for you: “This is exactly why you should do this business. We will show you how to earn a return on your investment in the first month.” Then hit them with a story: We have amazing success stories at Click on Business System and SUCCESS STORIES. Memorize your favorites that match an objection: Romi – Already successful – still couldn’t get ahead Sarah – Not a sales person – learned biz -1st Millionaire Donna – Too busy – Works R+F alongside real estate Melinda – No Money – had to borrow the $ for kit!

24 Meredith Presty, a direct business partner of mine is a successful real estate agent. She is a mother of two year old twins, very busy, was able to return her investment in her first 60 days and not only did she do that, by month three, she was covering ALL household expense items! Mortgage, car payment and groceries by month three! So you CAN afford this investment, as long as you are coachable and willing to work the system!

25 One great story is, Tracey Willard:
She was having a hard time putting food in her kid’s lunch boxes! She borrowed the money to get into this business and she was driven! She was motivated to take her family back up! She is now leading the charge and has more people in Southern California than any other team and she is very close to earning her Lexus. Talk to people, share the story, build your success story library!

26 I can’t do sales! You know it’s funny … cause a lot of people say they couldn’t do sales … Nicole Carmony, a research scientist, felt just the same way! In fact, so do a lot of people! So, let’s talk about teachers. Because, teachers aren’t salesmen. Teachers have no business experience typically and no sales experience. And, the beautiful thing about this business is that we are not in the business of sales! We are in the business of offering solutions. We offer the solutions of a side income or the solutions to change someone’s skin. The best part about this … let’s talk about that teacher again. We have the ability to help mentor, coach and teach other people to how to develop and build a very profitable business. So, you can see, we are not in the business of sales. And, actually to be completely honest with you, we aren’t looking for salesmen! We are looking for somebody who is open minded and coachable so that I can show them just how to do this business successfully!

27 BUSINESS LANGUAGE: I am looking to open new profit centers and distributorships throughout ________ and I am looking for motivated, well connected influencers. You may know of someone, or you may be interested. I understand if it is not for you, but I feel compelled to tell you about this business and these products because I truly believe that this is the best career move I have ever made. Stop right there.

29 DRIP FILE Then, let’s say there’s no next step. The next step is to put them into your “drip file”. Keep them in the loop regarding your business with occasional s, keep them in the loop about new product launches. Things may change down the road and someone just might come to mind they could plug into your business, or they, themselves might have a change in the future and need a new business or maybe simply need a new product for their skin.
