3. 3 Vignana Jyothi is carved & created in the year 1991 by a dedicated group of Industrialists, Businessmen & professionals who felt that education is the light that wipes out the darkness of an uncertain future among the youth & determined to educate them without selfish ends. Vignana Jyothi Institute of Engineering & Technology sponsored by vignana jyothi trust, was established in the year 1995. VNR VJIET Governing Council is headed by an eminent citizen Padmasri Dr. Kakarla Subba Rao. Shri D.J.Ramesh, chairman, Vijai Electricals ltd., is one of the founder members of the institution.
