Tool Manufacture You are looking for intelligent tool solutions or you need to realise complex processing problems? GDH offers you an overall solution: engineering and design, manufacturing of the individual components and construction of the finished tool. Since 1992, GDH has been a competent partner for the design and manufacturing of sheet metal forming tools. Our strength are deep-drawing tools, especially if re-draws are required. We produce insertion tools, follow-on tools, composite tools and transfer tools, for prototypes as well as for series production up to a maximum weight of 10 tons.
Pressing Technology Up to a pressing capacity of 120 tons from strip. Up to 800 tons by insertion process We producing in the field of steel, aluminium, high-grade steel, copper, brass and zinc. Materials can be punched in thicknesses of 0.5 to 10 mm in optimum quality and at reasonable prices.
Deep-drawing Technology We produce deep draw parts from any material that can be formed, like steel, stainless steel and non-ferrous metals. We are able to process material of a thickness between 0.5 mm and 10 mm in a pressure range of up to 800 tons. We can either take over your tools or produce them in our works. Besides we can offer you an initial draw simulation in our premises.
Metal Spinning Technology We produce spun parts from any material that can be formed such as copper, brass, steel, aluminium, stainless steel, zinc and tin. Up to a blank diameter of 800 mm and at an initial sheet thickness of 6 mm for St, 4 mm for VA, 8 mm for CU/CnZu etc. and 10 mm for Al, rotationally symmetrical workpieces are produced by spinning. We can either take over your tools or produce them in our works.
Laser Technology We process in 2D technique, possible dimensions 3000 x 1500 mm. Maximum thickness VA up to 12 mm St up to 20 mm Al up to 6 mm In 3D technique possible dimensions 3200 x 1525 x 600 mm. Maximum thickness VA up to 4 mm St up to 8 mm Al up to 3 mm
Pressure Vessel Components We are certfied acc. to the quality assurance system for material suppliers as defined by EU directive 97/23/EG and AD 2000-Merkblatt W0 approved for pressure vessels. We produce bottoms for pressure vessels and unpressurised vessels made of steel, stainless steel and aluminium up to a diameter of 1,000 mm and a wall thickness of 10 mm. Surfaces and edges are processed according to your requirements.
Welding Engeneering We are currently operating four welding machines for maximum unit weights of 250 kg, diameter 1,200 mm and surface dimensions 2,000 x 800 mm, 7 axes simultaneously. Welding is done manually or by robot welding arms and using the following welding procedures: WIG (Wolfram Inert Gas Welding) Especially for welding high alloy materials and for partly mechanical welding of aluminium and other non-ferrous metals. MAG (Metal Active Gas Welding) Many assemblies and machines are made of structural steel. Their solidity depends on impeccable welding seams which are often genereated using the MAG welding procedure and the «appropriate» protective gas.
Mechanical Processing In addition to the metal processing we offer this one to mechanical processing like lathing, wire-edm, grinding, cutting and milling. Lathing: Maximum diameter 800 x3000 mm Wire-EDM: Maximum finished dimensions 320 x 520 x200 mm
Mechanische Bearbeitung Grinding: Maximum grinding area 1,000 x 700 mm, maximum height 575 mm Cutting: With holding fixture maximum width 240 mm, maximum height 200 mm Without holding fixture maximum width 420 mm, maximum height 410 mm Milling: Finished dimensions maximum 3000 x 1200 x 1000 mm, unit weight maximum 5 tons

For initial models as well as during series production, strict quality controls and most recent 3-D measuring technics ensure the first-class quality of your products.
