Provide a copy of the rule book (electronically) to all key roles (Chair and Chief Judge) Download the latest speech kits from Toastmasters International Use a planning sheet with all the required roles filled out Use a detailed agenda Remember to allow for time in the agenda for Award Presentations Remember the Speech Times go an extra 30 seconds. Notify the next level of winners within 48 hours Club – Area Governor/ Area Contest Chair/ Division Chief Judge Area – Division Governor/ Division Contest Chair/ Division Chief Judge Division – District Contest Chair and District Chief Judge Try to have 2 separate toastmasters, one for each contest. This will spread the workload out a bit. Remind the Contest Toastmasters about the 1 minute of silence between speeches. Let the Toastmasters know how much time they have for the interview part of the program. Planning Tips

Practice speech introductions in a contest format prior to the contest.
