4. ACTIVE CITIZENSHIP! STEP ONE EQUAbilITy is essentially a shop that you go to so as to select those technologies, which will reconfigure any computer or other device, such as a laptop, notebook, smartphone, etc., so that it matches your personal requirements STEP TWO Now you may not know what is available in the shop so we have an EQUAbilITy Facilitator to help you make your selection and then to assist you in the operation of the EQUAbilITy App. SPECIAL NOTE There are a wide range of Personal Assistive Inclusive Technologies available. These range from applications which make letters larger, sounds louder, colours sharper to much more complex applications which can move a cursor by tracking the optic nerves or input data through speech and even un-jumble some dyslexic effects on text. EQUAbilITy will help you to make the best choice for your needs and make your choice accessible!

5. ACTIVE CITIZENSHIP! STEP THREE Once you have completed your selection then the EQUAbilITY Facilitator will assist you to register with EQUAbilITy and obtain your unique ID and password before using Cloud Technology to store your Personal Profile SPECIAL NOTE We will do our level best to protect the information that you store with EQUAbilITy but remember the prime responsibility is yours and you must always protect your password and ID.

6. ACTIVE CITIZENSHIP! STEP FOUR Your personal profile will be stored using Cloud Technology, which basically means that it will be available to you whenever and wherever you need to use any Information Communication Technology tool or system. SPECIAL NOTE Should new technologies or new versions of existing applications become available EQUAbilITy will automatically up date your selected assistive inclusive technologies as per your profile. As important should your requirements change either because of deterioration or improvement EQUAbilITY will be aware of this and adjust accordingly.

7. ACTIVE CITIZENSHIP! STEP SIX You have now profiled your needs, obtained your EQUAbilITy ID and Password, stored them using Cloud and have learned how to access and apply your new assistive inclusive technologies SPECIAL NOTE EQUAbilITY is intended to assist you in improving your life chances through more effective access to education and through the elimination of the need for a potential employer to install any special systems on their ICT systems. EQUAbilITy does it for them seamlessly.

8. ACTIVE CITIZENSHIP! ESSENTIAL SKILLS CERTIFICATE So now you can work the EQUAbilITy system well and you have better ICT access to knowledge and information. But how can you prove that you have learned new skills and can apply them at work or in education? EQUAbilITy has the answer! EQUAbilITy will provide you with the opportunity of obtaining internationally recognised certification so that a potential employer will know you have the necessary competencies to get the job done.
