Canadian Hard of Hearing Association-BC Chapter Driver Visor Kit Bridging the Communications Gap when stopped by Police
Canadian Hard of Hearing Association BC Chapter offers a Driver Visor Kit which we hope will make your communications with a Police Officer less stressful for the Deaf or Hard of Hearing person. We also hope it will serve to educate the Police staff about the special communication needs of the hearing loss.
2. An International Hearing Loss Symbol sticker for placement on the left hand lower rear window of your car. 3. A Blue Ear Pin that can be worn while driving and visible just in case you are stopped by a police officer. 5. A Communicard to show to police officer or to anyone to help with your communication needs. CommuniCard Face me and do not cover your mouth. Speak clearly but not too quickly.
