We maintain a data base and use it to report to Senior Leadership the number of SARS received and approved. All SARS are reviewed by our office before submittal to engineering for review/evaluation. If there is an open acquisition for the item, the buyers are notified.Listed on our webpage is a Source Approval Information Booklet which has links to assist you in submitting your package or establishing qualification requirements. Submitting a complete package should facilitate the review process. If anything is missing, we’ll have to return it to you and that will only serve to delay the process, so please comply with the information in the booklet. For those acquisitions which have qualification requirements assigned, we will publish a notification in the FedBizOps and if you are interested, please contact the source development specialist in my office. Most of the items purchased by Tinker AFB require engineering source approval—this is accomplished through Qualification RequirementsWe publish QRs in FedBizOpps. If you missed the announcement, don’t fret. You can call Joe Roop and he will get you a copy of the QRPlease note that approval of your package does not guarantee that you’ll receive a contract…it only means that you are approved for that item when a requirement generates.
