Graduates of the Co-op program generally find jobs faster Co-op gives students the opportunity to acquire a lot less debt during school Graduates of Co-op benefit by having a higher income than those with no experience The CO-OP Office

Get an opportunity to try a variety of employment settings Get up to a year of practical on the job work experience Earn money while in school to finance your education Gain valuable industry references to help obtain future jobs The CO-OP Office

It is a program related work experience Mostly paid jobs, with a Min. of 360 hours needed in order to complete each Work Term Jobs are generated by the Student* as well as the Co-op office The CO-OP Office * You are responsible for an independent job search

Involves a 7 week preparation course in addition to your 6 other courses before your first work term Acceptance into Co-op is based on successful completion of all courses and GPA Co-op office is located in D103 under the career centre (Traf.) & B223 (Davis) The CO-OP Office

Human Resources (T&D) - The minimum GPA for consideration is 3.0 plus a B in Human Resource Management 1&2 (1 st YR.), Recruitment & Selection, Occupational Health & Safety and Organizational Behavior (2 nd YR.)*(Semester Six you have to go to Davis) Accounting (T&D) - The minimum GPA for consideration is 2.0, plus a C in: Accounting 1&2, Computer Applications 1&2, Math, Finance and Business Communications (1 st YR.)* E-commerce (T) – The minimum GPA for consideration is 3.0 plus a B in Introduction to Internet Programming, Logical Database Design, Building Audiences & Communities, Internet Programming 2, Database Management, Web Analytics & Search Engine Optimization, and Rich Media Office Admin. Legal (D), Banking & Wealth (T), Finance (T), & Marketing (T) – The minimum GPA for consideration is 2.0.* * A higher GPA cut off may be implemented for programs with limited space. The CO-OP Office
