2 Foundation for the Development of the Education System (FRSE) It was established in 1993 to implement a range of initiatives to support educational reform and development in Poland. This key priority is attained by coordinating two European Union programmes – Lifelong Learning Programme and the Youth in Action. 9 Erasmus in PL - trends 1. Continuous growing interest in the programme; 2. Internationalisation as a part of HEIs mission; 3. Tools supporting moblility (ECTS, DS) have been introducted; 4. Rotation of Erasmus staff.

10 Problems 1) Lack of co-funding from other (non-LLP budget) sources and limited possibilities to co-finance activities form university sources 2) Lack of sufficient offer in foreign languages (low number of incoming students) 3) Recognition problems (although use of ECTS is compulsory) 4) Insufficient use of opportunities offered by multilateral projects and networks

11 Plans for the future LLPLink will be the common information system to handle the needs of submission, evaluation, selection, contractualisation, management, and reporting for projects under all decentralised actions of the Lifelong Learning Programme It will run on "local" databases (installed at all 42 NAs) and they will exchange data with a central database located in the Data Centre of the European Commission in Luxembourg.
