11 CV Tips Show CV Be honest and positive
Don’t put skills you don’t have (put under interests) Make it readable (avoid smoke and mirrors) Graphs on CV Examples on CV or link to blog/website LinkedIn Profile Ask for recommendations

12 Job Search / Portal tips
Find relevant job portals Register CV and Re-upload every week Search for jobs daily (10 minutes) Find out what you are missing Recruiters newsletter: Get addresses from agents and add them to newsletter (mailchimp) Send an update with CV on a irregular basis. Put message that they send you an and if they don’t want your updates they can unsubscribe.

13 Interview Tips The “right” thinking. Ask yourself:
Why the company wants to employ someone? Who makes the final decision? (One person or many?) What are the “pass” criteria? Who is the most important person during the interview? How can you help the company achieve their goals? What kind of person are they after? The “right” approach: Think Positively (Experience, Questions, Answers) Be honest with yourself and others in a positive way. Focus on the needs of person who interviews you! Be Optimistic. Have “can do” attitude. Be helpful.

14 Interview Tips Before the interview:
Write down key info about the job from job spec. Practice with a friend (avoid memorizing) Go through Interview Q&As examples / Job Spec req. Fill in the key gaps if you have the time. Find out who will interview you (LinkedIn) Stress? What is the worst that can happen? Accept it Prepare Still Negative thoughts? Try EFT (Tapping) or Anchoring (NLP) Prepare portfolio of SSRS Samples. Print them out and organize nicely in a folder. During interview tell you have samples and you would like to share it and they can either view it or keep it.

15 Interview Tips During the interview:
Keep eye contact (relaxed and not constant) Control and observe body language (react to it) Avoid overconfidence. Examples: What to do if: You know the answer. You don’t understand the question. You don’t know the answer. Why should we employ you? What to ask the person who interviews you? How to end the interview?
