6. Test random areas for other, undetected sealers or coatings by taking a small cup of muriatic acid mixed at a ratio of 4 parts water to one part acid

7. Part - II Etching the Floor

8. Get a cleaner for etching

9. Presoak the floor

10. Mix one gallon of mixed acid/water solution (4 water : 1 acid)

11. Rinse entire floor well

12. Allow the floor to dry completely

13. Part - III Coating the Floor

14. Select the product you will use to coat your garage floor. Calculate the amount of material required to do your project. Install the coating. Design it, if desired.

15. Part - IV Finishing Up

16. Dispose of your used materials. Allow the epoxy to cure completely. Observe the re-coat times carefully.
