3. WHY USE MOBILE DEVICES? Portable: Because of their small size and weight, these devices are extremely mobile. Instant on: You don't have to wait for lengthy boot times. Wireless communications: Technology advancements and add-ons will keep you current whenever you are in a coverage area. Infrared beaming: You can transfer data without cables or external services.
