3 Iran has rejected a proposal to have much of its low-enriched uranium converted into fuel abroad and has suggested an alternative. Countries want Iran to shut them down or use them for fuel so that they are not producing nuclear weapons.

5 The Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu constantly stresses what he sees as a potential existential threat from Iran.

6 President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has repeatedly stressed that Iran will not yield to international pressure: "The Iranian nation will not succumb to bullying, invasion and the violation of its rights,“ he has said.

7 The US, Russia, China, the UK, France and Germany say that if Iran suspends uranium enrichment, then talks can start about a long-term agreement.

11 Iran ratified the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty in 1970, and since February 1992 has allowed the IAEA to inspect any of its nuclear facilities. Prior to 2003 no IAEA inspections had revealed Tehran's violations of the NPT. -Iran didn't inform IAEA ( International Atomic Energy Agency) about nuclear production. Iran said its nuclear program was peaceful, -IAEA launched investigation and declared Iran had failed to follow through with the treaty NPT (Nuclear Non-Profileration Treaty).

12 Well, other nations are trying to put a stop to the production of the activated uranium. This is impacting our world because we are so focused on this issue that it is using the time and energy spent which could be used for other issues. This could start a nuclear war. It puts strains on the powerful countries. Well we are part of the United Nations so then we have the responsibility of making sure that all the nations are united with peace kept between them.
