4. Batch Clean-up of Backlog  2,326 books cleared from backlog and sent to shelves!  A file was created with the OCLC numbers for all 2 nd level YBP approval books in the backlog  This file was then run through OCLC, searching for records that were updated to complete records (encoding level “I” or blank). 5. Reduction of Books Being Added to Backlog  As of June 2015, established OCLC Bib Notification Service to receive updated bib records. And,  Established new procedures for 2nd level books copy cataloging. Results: YBP Approval books ReceivedBacklogged % Backlogged Jan. 2015108165460.5% July 2015 with new procedures 13591118.2% The books being added to the backlog are mainly 3 rd level books.

Cataloging Department 2014-2015 The remarkable results in:  the amazing results of work accomplished on backlog  number of new titles cataloged  all the withdrawals (Yay!!!)  new projects with DDAs, Diaz-Ayala, D-Panther, etc.  all the clean-up projects  … reflect the outstanding job done by each member of the department and the outstanding teamwork involved!
